Shamima earned her Master of Architecture degree from New Jersey Institute of Technology in 2017 and Bachelor of Architecture degree from Bangladesh University of Engineering & Technology in 2012. She is certified in OSHA 30, Construction, Safety, and Health. She has been working as a Project Manager for Benelli Group with her expertise in residential, retail and commercial projects. From early project programming and feasibility study to construction document preparation and construction administration, she has a diversified range of experience that she offers to her clients. Her professional skills reflect her parallel interests in design & technical problem-solving. One of Shamima’s major accomplishments was with a mega project in her native country of Bangladesh, where she and a team of over 40 architects and designers worked under her supervision as the Project Manager. This gated community project, named Rupayan City Uttara consists of over 930,000 square feet with over 400 units that consists of amenities including parks, gardens, swimming pools, clubhouse, b-b-q area, playingfields, parking, mosque, convenience shops, jogging tracks, gazebos, and benches. This massive grand-scale project is a major green project that was built to accommodate the growing population as it transforms the lifestyles of the peoples while merging the future sustainability of the country.
